Improved Wire Extrusion is a project in Universal Paperclips.
Summary
Unlocked by unlocking projects (in general) and having purchased wire at least once.
Without upgrade you get 1000 paperclips from spool of wire (1000 inches) - at lowest price of $0.01 per clip you get $10 per spool.
After this upgrade - 1500 inches of wire per spool - meaning you will get $15 per spool at minimum.
This means to earn money you will need to sell paperclips at $0.02 per clip, as cost of spool is between $15 - $25 in beginning of game.
note: I have seen the wire price drop as low as $13 when selling for $0.01 in an attempt to spam beg for more wire until I am out of trust and have soft-locked myself
